Our Story, Your Trust

HOME | ABOUT

CIDCS (CALD Integration: Disability & Community Services) is a culturally responsive, trauma-aware organisation dedicated to empowering CALD individuals and families.

We honour the richness of multicultural communities and provide inclusive services that promote healing, dignity, and lifelong belonging. Our work is grounded in respect, collaboration, and the belief that every person deserves support that reflects their story, culture, and strengths.

We walk alongside our clients — not ahead or behind — ensuring that their voices guide the journey. And service development

Pauline Lee-Jones
Founder & Director, CIDCS (CALD Integration: Disability & Community Services)

I am a compassionate, accredited social worker with over 19 years of experience across mental health, youth, and disability sectors — working within both government and non-government services. My career has been shaped by a deep commitment to culturally responsive practice and a belief in the power of community-led support.

Over the years, I’ve witnessed how mainstream services often offer overwhelming or one-size-fits-all support to CALD communities, without truly understanding the cultural, emotional, and systemic barriers many individuals face. This gap in service provision — especially for those who have settled in Australia but remain excluded from meaningful integration — led me to establish CIDCS.

CIDCS was born from both professional insight and lived experience, with the hope to make a real difference in the lives of CALD individuals. It is a space where people — including those living with disability — can access trauma-aware, culturally safe services that respect their identity, voice, and journey.

  • Master of Mental Health Practice
  • Bachelor of Social Work
  • Diploma of Community Development and Welfare Work
  • Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy
  • Certificate IV in Youth Work
  • Certificate IV in Juvenile Justice

My work is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and collaboration. Through CIDCS, I continue to advocate for inclusive systems, empower communities, and walk alongside those who deserve to be seen, heard, and supported — not just in settlement, but in lifelong integration.

This is more than a saying — it’s the foundation of how I lead, serve, and build community.

Our Vision

We envision a community where CALD individuals and families are supported through services that honour culture, promote healing, and foster lifelong inclusion. CIDCS is committed to building a society where multiculturalism is celebrated, voices are heard, and every person — regardless of background or ability — feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. 🦁 “Until the lion learns to write, every story will glorify the hunter.” — African Proverb This reminds us that true inclusion begins when those who have been silenced are empowered to tell their own stories. At CIDCS, we ensure that CALD communities are not spoken for — but heard, respected, and uplifted.

Our Mission

Our mission is to walk alongside CALD communities with respect, compassion, and cultural humility. We provide trauma-aware, culturally safe services that empower individuals and families to live with dignity, purpose, and connection. We believe integration is possible when services are designed with collaboration, cultural understanding, and community voice at their core. 🪷 “A single bracelet does not jingle.” — African Proverb This reminds us that true impact comes through unity. Just as one bracelet cannot make sound alone, meaningful change requires collective effort, shared wisdom, and mutual support.
